This section of the forum was created to allow all members to use the Calendar feature of KI. The Calendar is actually quite simple to use after you figure out how to make a calendar event. Creating a calendar event is actually very simple after you know how.

The first thing you have to do is post a new thread in either the Webkinz Events or Social Events forums.

Next just type your event in the text box just like you are creating a new thread and make sure to title your thread exactly how you want it to show up in the calendar.
Example: If I wanted to create an event announcing the start of Fall Fest I would title my thread 'Fall Fest Begins Today' and my message would be something like, 'Fall Fest Begins today, I hope everyone catches a lot of leaves'

Then before pressing sent scroll down below the text box to the Calendar Section.

Then just fill out how you want your event to appear in the calendar.
You must fill out the field titled 'Calendar Event' or your event will not appear in the calendar. The other fields, 'Hour of Event' and During are optional. Also to easily have the event set on the day you are typing the message just click on the today link located next to the drop down menus for the Calendar Event field.

Then if you want to see your event or view other member's events just click on the Button in the main Navigational Bar.

Also please note that only Moderators and Administrators can reply to threads located in this forum. When you create a thread in this forum it is basically locked from other members posting on it.

Have fun and there is no limit to the amount of calendar events you can create, make as many as you want just make sure they follow the rules.
