Find Doug in the Collector's Room, and you might get a prize!!! A new feature has been added to the Clubhouse. Doug is on a mission to collect gems. Find him and he'll ask if you have a certain gem he is searching for. If you have it and are willing to trade, he'll give you a gift. Here is what you will see:

To begin, go to the Clubhouse and enter the Collector's Room.

When you enter the Collector's Room, you will see Doug. He is hard to miss!

When you click on Doug, he'll ask if you have a gem he is looking for.

Click on Yes to accept. Doug will tell you what gem he is looking for and how many of that gem you have.

If you want to trade, click ok. Doug will let you know what he has given you in exchange.

Please help out. All this about color of collector rooms etc. Does this mean we are to change the color of our phones and go hunting? Just a bit more detail will help me greatly. Sorry, I am a year older you know!

Yes, the first day that you visit Doug you get Rocky Road Ice Cream Cone. If you visit him tomorrow with the same pet, you should get Rock Candy. Then the gem belt the next day, etc.

I hope you webbies like their ice cream!!

You catch on pretty quickly there gran!!! I love the line about being a year older! You are correct. Whichever room Doug is reported to be in, you will need to change to that zone on your kinz phone. Also, it seems that Doug prefers rooms that are below #30 for some reason.

Oh no- you are not much farther behind at all! I believe the chair is next, and then the volcano. I started a few days later then many members, (I thought he was in the trading room!) but I try to find him at least once a day. The volcano was kind of a disapointment though. You expect it to be HUGE but it's the size of... say the WShop toy frog for example. Not sure how that item came to mind... Wink

Congratulations on the volcano, Cocoa! I heard that the volcano can sit on top of a table or pedestal. Then it can be like a science project!!! LOL!! The ol' dog has been rotten to me. Look what he offered the last time:

We have more than one pet going through to see Doug, but for now, we are just taking the ones who are on level 3 or better. After that we will take the others on through. I don't have many gems it seems. I have been selling them as 1 Crown of Wonder was fine for me. I don't go see Doug daily because of this. My daughter got the wallpaper. I can't wait for that. We are only on level 5 with one pet. Jeff got the mining hat last night.

I am as far as the small collector trophy on one account. The other accounts I am ready for wallpaper but keep getting kinzcash. Hopefully today I will get over that hump! I spend way too many gems on the early foods and am now running low on common gems. I have to remember that I don't HAVE to have it all right now!! LOL! But I want it NOW!

Ugh! Kinzcash isn't fun... that's what Quizzy's is for! Fortunately, I still haven't been offered any, I'm not really sure why. Everyone else has! Speaking of Doug, I should probably log on and see what I get for today!

I am finally up to the Gem Collector's Certificate on one account. If only my rare gems will hold out until I get the throne. How is everyone else doing on their gem hunt? I read "An Air of Mystery" with my grandsons last night. I didn't realize it was about Doug. It was fun and they liked the story.

Congrats! I'm only on my mining outfit on one account and the rocky road treat on the other. You're all doing so well! I've got to get onto my computer more often! Part of the problem is that with my work hours I don't always get home in time to go on before it's shut down on the West Coast and I'm too busy before I leave for work, sigh. Sad

OK, guys... I am confused. What volcano are we talking about, here? I don't see one in the prize picture at the beginning of this thread.

This is a great guide! What's the prize right after the mining suit? Lately I can't even get Doug's quest to open up. I'll be clicking on him 15 billion times, and nothing happens.

Updated gem item list by day. I finally was able to get the gem throne today. The list of items by day is on the front page of this thread so you can see what comes after the mining suit and the gem belt. I believe it is the signed photo but I'm not sure. I'll have to check myself! LOL!

Lkg; I GREATLY appreciate that you updated it by day. As far as I know, I don't even believe WI has set it up this way, and this is very helpful, as in trades people will ask for 'Day 14 & on.' It's good to know what Day 14 is... Wink
