I was finally able to get into the eStore around 11 pm PST. Items can only be purchased with eStore Points now. An adult can go to the eStore and buy points that will be held in the account until one wants to make a purchase. Gift Accounts may also be created. I see this being used as a rewards system for kids. Do well in school, do chores without complaining, etc., and points can be purchased that the child can spend anytime without having to worry about an adult being present at a certain day/time. The cost for the eStore Points are as follows in specific increments:
10,000 points cost $10 plus any applicable taxes
20,000 points cost $20 " "
30,000 points cost $30 " "
40,000 points cost $40 " "
The Pets "cost" 12,500 points. I checked a couple of the Circus items as well and found that the Circus Popcorn Bed is 8,000 points while the Circus Floor & Walls is 3,000. The
Circus Playland Ball Pool will be available April 2nd for 7,000 points until 10 am EST.
The site lists the special items available for the next couple of days broken down by time available (i.e. from launch time to 10 am, 10 am to 4 pm, etc.) Different items are available during different time periods.
