Today is the vernal equinox at 7:44am EST the sun will pass over the equator and this marks the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere and the beginning of fall in the southern hemisphere.

It has been a long winter and I'm glad that spring is finally here! A sure sign is that I saw that the robins are back!

Our birds have been back for like two months now. We haven't seen any bees yet, and I am GLAD! I hate 'em!

I wish I lived where you folks are. They is still 2-3 feet of snow on the ground and the only birds around are the crows. The good news is I saw a crocus coming out of the ground in the flowerbed where the snow has actually melted. But then it is back to reality 10-15 cms (4-6in) of snow tomorrow evening. Our springs don't really happen here. It skips from winter to summer. You can be wearing boots one day shoes the next and then sandals by the end of the week.

In the night we got some snow. Tomorrow I won't be able to get on here because I am going to the theater to see Marley & Me. I have heard that it is a good movie. I hope it is.
