Ganz to Retire Rare Theme Next Week

Ganz has just dropped a bombshell on their twitter account:

We have known for a few weeks now that Ganz would be retiring a theme sometime next week (most likely on April 28) but most of us assumed that it would be a W-Shop Theme. This assumption was not correct. Ganz will be retiring a Rare Curio Shop Theme. Currently there are seven rare themes in WW.
Ancient Civilization Theme (Introduced Jan 2008)
Aztec Theme (Introduced Sept 2008)
Egyptian Theme (Original to WW)
Kooky Scientist Theme (Original to WW)
Medieval Theme (Original to WW)
Palace Princess Theme (Introduced Oct 2009)
Persian Theme (Introduced Mar 2010)

At this point we don't know which theme will be retiring. To see pictures of the items in any of those themes just click on the name of the theme. At this point we don't have a completed Persian Theme Page.

I know that on other sites everyone thinks that the science theme is leaving. I don't think so. The bed has not been available FOREVER. I am not happy that any of them are leaving. I have not finished any of them yet. People will trade their house once they are gone. The trading room will be scary for a long time. Smile

It would be nice if WW would offer each item of the soon to be retired theme at least 1 or 2 more times before they end it. I've only been collecting rares since Christmas and would like the opportunity to finish the rooms I've started.

I don't want them to retire anything!!!!! But I hope it will be the Kooky Scientist Theme!!

If I was to choose a theme to retire, I would choose the scientist one, But I think Ganz will retire the Egyptian Theme

I hope it isn't the Egyptian Theme, I don't have that one finished. I don't have any of them finished! If you look what is on sale lately it isn't Egyptian. Which ever one the retire, they need to have it available before it is removed.

My bet is on the science theme. I have expected that for a while. Only time will tell!

My guess is also the science theme.

I hope its the science theme I really don't like that one!
